A Panaché To End The Day

What’s more befitting than enjoying a refreshing Panaché at a French bistro in alfresco, to celebrate the completion of a hard run and a beautiful day.

I have just finished a tempo run, a workout that have not done for ages. Instead of going straight home as usual, Silviu and I decided to stay out and enjoy the rest of the beautiful day by having a drink in the bistro near our flat.

Since I don’t like the bitterness of beer, I have ordered Panaché, the popular French drink that contains usually c. 1% of alcohol. Similar to shandy, it is a mixture of beer and carbonated lemonade (or soda e.g. 7-up). In French, the word ‘Panaché’ literally means a mixture.

Chin chin!
